We are looking for a senior professional to join the dynamic Listings and Issuers Division of Athens Stock Exchange.

Reporting to the Deputy Director, your main responsibilities will include attracting prospective issuers, review of listing files and supporting and monitoring listed companies with regard to their corporate actions and ongoing obligations according to the ATHEX Rulebook.

Key accountabilities

• Analyse financial statements and assess and attract prospective issuers, as well as perform the review of listing applications
• Provide corporate services to listed issuers
• Participate in actions to promote and strengthen relations with the domestic and global Capital Market Ecosystem
• Stay abreast of regulatory developments in Greece and Europe and participate in relevant capital markets international forums and associations
• Lead of the design, project management and roll-out of a suite of strategic initiatives related to Capital Markets, as well as Corporate Governance and ESG

 Knowledge skills and experience required

• At least 7 years work experience at an Investment Bank, or other financial institution or a consulting or auditing firm, in positions related to corporate finance, financial analysis and assurance services, underwriting or due diligence services for listing purposes in Capital Markets
• Bachelor preferably in Economics, Master’s in finance, or other related subject or equivalent qualification (CFA, ACCA etc.)
• Proven experience in analyzing financial statements of companies
• Knowledge of Company Law and desirably stock market legislation is a strong asset
• Sales and client facing skills
• Very strong multitasking, organization, writing and communication skills in Greek and English
• MS Office skills (especially Excel and Powerpoint)
• Ability to work autonomously and with teams alike, under pressure with tight deadlines
• Essential skills include strategic thinking, customer orientation and a strong sense of accountability and confidentiality
