Βusiness Analyst
We are looking for a professional Business Analyst to join the dynamic New Markets & International Business Development Division of the Athens Stock Exchange.
Role Accountabilities
- Perform requirements analysis, document, and communicate the results.
- Participate in work teams for drafting business plans.
- Engage in negotiations with clients, partners, and subcontractors.
- Deal with identification and mitigation of early risks for the project, identification, and resolution of key issues.
- Cooperate and coordinate all inter-departmental / stream activities, focusing mainly on allocating resources and maintaining cost efficiency, and assisting with the end-of-year resource performance reviews.
- Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance.
- Manage project administration, such as approvals for timesheets and expenses, client invoicing, and resource forecasting.
- Monitor deliverables’ quality and raise quality concerns to the delivery channel or team resources and proactively support them with actions to resolve the issues.
- Keep track of financial relationships with clients in an organized and efficient manner.
- Prepare internal reports addressed to upper management, regarding the status of the client relationship or ongoing projects.
- Engage in after-sales and cross-selling activities with each customer.
Candidate’s Profile
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business/Economics or Computer Science or Mathematics or other related fields (e.g. Engineering or Applied Sciences field).
- At least 3 years of experience in Capital Markets or in the broader Financial Services industry.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and a team player who works professionally and who takes ownership to deliver a successful project.
- Strong analytical, synthesizing, and problem-solving skills.
- Multi-tasker with the ability to interact with a high-performing delivery team and to provide feedback and new ideas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English with the capability of communicating at different levels in the organization and with the client.
- Proven negotiation capabilities with the ability to liaise and influence across all levels to bring successful outcomes.
- Effective interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and proven experience in successfully setting and managing customer expectations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, MS Office applications, and the Atlassian products Confluence and Jira.
- Able to organize workload and meet deadlines.
- Fast Learner with an aptitude and appetite to familiarize and be educated in the specifics of the capital markets business.
- Fulfilled military obligations (for men).
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of project management and systems development processes and methodologies (e.g. Agile, etc.).
- Business Analyst certification.
- Project Management certification.
