Business Analyst

In this role, you will analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and support the development of strategic initiatives. Your analytical skills and market insights will be crucial in shaping the future of our international business operations.
The role reports to a Team-Lead and to the Director of the New Markets & International Business Development.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain Client Relationships: Keep financial relationships with clients organized and efficiently engage in after-sales and cross-selling activities (e.g. drafting project proposals, and coordinating all inter-departmental / stream activities).
- Prepare Management Reports: Create internal reports for upper management on client relationships and ongoing project statuses.
- Manage Projects: Engage in Project Objective assessment, develop detailed project plans including resources forecasting and monitor performance to ensure the quality and the timely delivery of the deliverables.
- Analyze and Communicate Requirements: Conduct thorough requirements analysis, document findings, and effectively communicate results to stakeholders.
- Negotiate with Stakeholders: Engage in negotiations with clients, partners, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
- Coordinate Activities with Internal Teams: Facilitate cooperation and coordination across departments, focusing on resource allocation, cost efficiency, and supporting end-of-year performance reviews.
- Handle Project Administration: Manage administrative tasks such as timesheet and expense approvals, client invoicing, and resource forecasting.
Knowledge and experience
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Business/Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (e.g. Engineering or Applied Sciences).
- 1-3 years of experience in Capital Markets or the broader Financial Services industry.
- 5-7 years of experience in business analysis projects related to financial services.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, MS Office applications, and Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira).
- Knowledge of project management and systems development processes and methodologies (e.g. Agile) (would be considered as a plus).
- Business Analyst certification (would be considered as a plus).
- Project Management certification (would be considered as a plus).

- Strong analytical, synthesizing, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and interact with a high-performing delivery team, providing feedback and new ideas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English, capable of communicating at different levels within the organization and with clients.
- Proven negotiation capabilities with the ability to liaise and influence across all levels to achieve successful outcomes.
- Effective interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with proven experience in setting and managing customer expectations.
- Ability to organize workload and meet deadlines.
- Fast learner with an aptitude and appetite for familiarizing and educating oneself in the specifics of the capital markets business.
- Fulfilled military obligations (for men).
