Junior Applications Support Engineer

We seek a Junior Applications Support Engineer to join our Applications Support team and provide vital technical assistance to both internal teams and external customers. The role involves troubleshooting application issues, with a focus on delivering swift and effective solutions, as well as contributing to the enhancement of the company’s knowledge base and driving continuous improvement.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist with help desk calls, scheduling updates and applications setup, and Jira tickets
- Provide first-level technical support for applications to customers who have Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the company, acting as a central point of contact and coordination
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical manuals and support operation guidelines for supported applications and software systems
- Develop and implement specialized management and support applications for supported technical solutions, in collaboration with relevant departments
- Document the operational environment, establish reliable monitoring and recovery mechanisms, regularly update documentation and support procedures in response to new issues
- Manage external applications that fulfill the operational needs of the organization (such as SAP, Jira, CRM), optimizing process automation and cost efficiency (Total Cost of Ownership).
Knowledge and experience
- BSc degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or other science degree
- MSc degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or other science degree will be considered a plus
- Up to 2 years of experience as a Junior Applications Support Engineer or in similar roles will be preferred.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
