Legal Counsel

We seek to employ a passionate Legal Counsel to join our innovative team, focusing on providing comprehensive legal support to Group companies in commercial, corporate, and financial law.
The Legal Counsel will participate in the activities of the Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance Division, collaborate with its other legal counsels and executives, and assume responsibility for specific projects assigned to them with limited supervision.
The role reports to the General Counsel, Chief Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance Officer.
Key Accountabilities
Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to business and operational units of the Group
Draft and review contracts, terms and conditions, applications, and other legal documentation about licensed and non-licensed services provided by Group companies
Draft, review, and negotiate comprehensive commercial agreements between Group companies and their clients, third-party service providers, and suppliers
Draft, revise, and oversee the implementation of regulations, policies, procedures, and other corporate documents
Advise on corporate law issues, including corporate structuring and intra-group transactions.
Coordinate and manage litigation matters involving Group companies
Provide legal support on the accounts and registry department on companies’ representation, inheritance, seizures, pledges, OTC transactions, and other related issues
Manage external counsel where required
Knowledge and experience
Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) from an accredited university and Master's degree (LL.M.) in Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Financial Law, or related field preferred
At least 5 years of professional experience with specialization in corporate, commercial, and financial law as an in-house legal counsel, or in a law firm, or consulting firm
Demonstrated expertise in comprehending, analyzing, and interpreting complex regulatory frameworks and legislative texts
Fluent in Greek and excellent command of English
Skills & Competences
Advanced analytical and synthesis capabilities for developing comprehensive regulations, policies, and procedures within complex regulatory frameworks
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related business applications
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly
Strong organizational and project management capabilities
Proven ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and lead regulatory initiatives
Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality standards
Fulfilled military obligations (for men)
