Junior Sales Executive
We are looking for an energetic, resourceful and proactive Junior Sales Executive to join our Sales & Business Development team.

The Junior Sales Executive role is critical to our overall success. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, creative, resourceful, and self-starters to join the team.

This person will need to be proactive, entrepreneurial, and hands-on in their approach to developing new business. In addition to this mindset, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate curiosity, be accountable for their work, and share the passion & vision of ATHEXGroup.
The position involves selling technology products, services, and solutions to clients. The successful candidate will help us generate leads and systematically expand our business across 3 key client segments: Listed Companies, Members, and Data Vendors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to gain significant exposure with clients from the very beginning with the view to build his/her own book of clients in the medium term.
The role will involve close collaboration with the Senior Sales Executive and will ultimately report to the Chief Sales & Business Development Officer, Deputy Chief Officer.
Key Accountabilities
As a Junior Sales Executive, you will be:
- Supporting Senior Sales Executives of the team, focusing predominantly on outbound strategies and moving leads through the sales pipeline
- Monitoring and attending meetings with prospects while handling introductions and follow-ups
- Confidently sharing product or service information with outside prospects
In addition, you will need to be highly organized. Among others, you will:
- Prepare for meetings, internal and external
- Collaborate with other teams within ATHEXGroup (presales, technology, operations, product/project teams, etc.)
- Ensure opportunities are accurately reflected and updated in our CRM
- Have a strong attention to detail and process
- Establish active communication and engagement with existing clients for upselling/cross-selling opportunities
Knowledge and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, IT, or a related field
- Master’s degree will be considered a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in a sales role; experience selling IT solutions within the Capital Markets industry, either at a technology or a financial services firm, will be considered a plus
- Experience using CRM or other sales tracking software
- Solid knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

- Excellent listening skills to fully understand client needs and pain points
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, demonstrating a positive, can-do attitude
- Outstanding verbal & written communication
- Must possess excellent presentation, writing, and communication skills (in Greek and English), including the capacity to present complex solutions in a customer-facing relationship and to the marketplace at large
- Ability to multitask and be able to maintain a balanced sales pipeline
- Strong negotiation skills
- Have a strong work ethic, team spirit, and eagerness to learn
