C Software Developer

We seek a professional C Software Developer to design and build high-performance Linux server applications and systems. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on next-generation trading and financial infrastructure.
You’ll collaborate closely with a talented team working across multiple layers of our technology stack—driving innovation, performance, and reliability at every level.
Key Accountabilities
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C code
- Implement performance and quality modules
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Knowledge and experience
- BSc degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or other science degree
- At least 3 years of professional experience in similar roles in software development using C programming, Linux IPC & network programming (sockets)
- Experience in using software development environments like VS Code using C programming language
- Good knowledge of software engineering principles, methods and techniques including Object – Oriented Design and Programming
- Good understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected environments
- Good understanding of messages queues and shared memory implementation in Linux
- Professional experience with bash, csh and/or Python scripting languages.
Nice to have
- Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or other science degree
- Experience in developing software in Financial or Banking Sector
- Experience in C++ programming
- Experience in DevOps techniques, methodologies and tools like the following
- Gitlab and gitflow
- Static Code Quality Analysis Tools
- Automated Code Building (CMAKE)
- Unit Testing and End to End testing
- Other CI/CD techniques like DevSecOps
- Knowledge and experience in the use of web-based development tools, n-tier architecture, design and software implementation
- Experience in creating technical documentation.
Skills & Competences
- Eagerness to learn and adopt new technologies
- Solid collaboration skills and the ability to work autonomously
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Fluency in both Greek and English
- Fulfilled military obligations (for men).
