Network Engineer

We seek a Network Engineer to join our Network Management Department and assist in managing the ATHEX Group network infrastructure, administering various services and tools and implementing technologies and communication protocols.
Key Accountabilities
- Support LAN / WAN, specific Cisco products and Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)
- Implement networking technologies & communication protocols (i.e.: TCP/IP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, PBR, QoS, IPSec, CA, Multicast, OTV)
- Administer Cloud Networking Solutions
- Administer Load Balancer (NSX Vmware) services
- Design, plan and implement integrated solutions for network infrastructure concerning Next Generation Networks (NGN), including upgrades and expansion on a regular basis or on demand
- Continuous hands-on network infrastructure through daily monitoring and implementations
- Deployment and configuration of third-party applications focused on security, performance monitoring and redundancy aspects
- Maintenance of Network Solutions and documentation for change management, incident management, procedures and work instruction
- Troubleshooting of network issues based on capture applications like Wireshark
- Eligible for stand-by for 24/7 services on a basis of weekly rotation.
Knowledge and experience
- BSc degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or other science degree with IP network specialization
- Network certifications (e.g. CISCO CCNA)
- Up to 2 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in similar roles will be preferred.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
- Positive attitude, highly motivated, proactive, and a team player
- Fulfilled military obligations (for men).
